Below is a clip art edge or possibly a frame. I wish I knew how to resize it to make it smaller, then perhaps someone could even offer a suggestion on doing that. Just what I want to exercise is learn how to take a prune fine art border, such as this, and use information technology in Pages to frame a folio, be it for a letter, or an email, or in Messages. I have searched high and low in Apple tree Assist, YouTube and the internet, have not found (or perhaps not recognized) instructions on how to practice this. Perhaps I am using the wrong terminology in my search - edge, frame, whatever. I tin notice all sorts of instructions on how to border a certificate with lines - thin, thick, dashed, fuzzy, etc - but aught on something like below. My goal is to either create the frame, and then blazon within it, or to blazon a document then add the frame around the outside of it. I guess another way of looking at it is to create a special stationery. Thanks for the help!

There are a couple of ways you can do this:

Click File > Catechumen to Folio Layout > Format on the righthand side > Select Background and Cull paradigm make full.

Or drag the border into pages as the prototype and arrange it to where you want > Format on the righthand side > Arrange > Stay on Folio > Click Lock to stop accidentally moving it.

Then use text boxes to position your text and y'all should be proficient to go.

I don't know information technology this is what y'all're looking for.... but the Mac App Shop has an app that provides Stationary Templates for Pages. Have a look and run across if it meets your needs.

Have you used this? The kickoff critique says there is no written instructions and the contact page is non in English. I'd probable be in trouble!

Click File > Catechumen to Page Layout > Format on the righthand side > Select Background and Choose image fill.

Or drag the border into pages every bit the epitome and conform it to where y'all want > Format on the righthand side > Arrange > Stay on Page > Click Lock to end accidentally moving it.

Got second one to work sort-of. No luck nevertheless on outset. Will probably have some questions. Nearly looks like your instructions are for a different version of Pages than I accept. But think #ii will be a winner! Thanks!

Spent a lilliputian more time on #ii this morning time, and found all the steps y'all mentioned! Every bit to "drag the border into pages as the prototype", I put the epitome on the Desktop, and so just pulled it to the New Certificate that I created in Pages. Is that what you meant to practice?
